JinkoSolar has signed a master module supply agreement with large-scale renewable energy projects operator Consolidated Edison Development (CED) in the US.

Under the agreement, JinkoSolar will supply polycrystalline 72-cell modules, totalling 560MW to CED.

CED will use these modules to power its projects located throughout the US.

CED president and CEO Mark Noyes said: "JinkoSolar has a clear understanding of the energy marketplace in which we operate.

Deliveries under the deal will be completed by the end of August next year.

JinkoSolar has already begun shipping modules to CED’s project sites.

With more than 15,000 employees, JinkoSolar currently serves customers in China, the US, Europe, Japan, Chile, South Africa, India, Mexico, and Brazil.

As of 30 June, the company has an integrated annual capacity of 3.5GW for silicon ingots and wafers, 3.5GW for solar cells, and 6.5GW for solar modules. 

JinkoSolar currently operates six productions facilities in Jiangxi, Zhejiang and Xinjiang Provinces, China, Malaysia, Portugal and South Africa.
