Falck Renewables has agreed to acquire Vestavind Kraft from Norwegian power generation company Svelgen Kraft Holding for €2.2m ($2.5m), with an option to access an additional 125MW of wind projects in Norway to be developed by Svelgen Kraft.
The company intends to make the payment through existing financial resources plus a potential earn-out of approximately €3.8m ($4.33m).
Vestavind Kraft currently owns the Hennoy and Okla windpower plants in Norway that have combined capacity of 70MW.
