Neumann Systems Group (NSG) has secured a $73.5m contract from Colorado Springs Utilities (CSU) to supply and install its emissions control system at CSU’s Martin Drake power plant in Colorado, US.
NSG’s NeuStream technology will remove sulphur dioxide from the emissions of the coal-fired plant.
The installation is in line with state of Colorado’s new regional haze air pollution requirements.
Work on the project is expected to start next month and completion is scheduled for 2014.
