Last December, Upsolar's subsidiaries Koine, and CW, deployed a large floating PV system at Tengeh Reservoir in Singapore. Koine is a design company specialising in floating technology, while CW is Upsolar’s installation partner in Singapore.

This system is part of the joint project overseen by the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS), spearheaded by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and PUB, Singapore’s national water agency, as part of the country's green initiatives to assess the viability of using floating PV systems.
