Denmark-based Vestas has secured an order to supply 42MW wind turbines from CyL Energía Eólica SLU for its Zarzuela renewable energy projects located in Burgos, Spain.

Under the terms of the contract, Vestas will supply, install and commission 22 units of V90-2.0/1.8MW turbines with a hub height of 105m.

The firm will also provide maintenance services for 12 years.

The Danish company will begin work on the projects during the fourth quarter of 2011 and is expected to complete them in the second quarter of 2012.
