Trina Storage and Lightshift Energy have revealed an expanded partnership to deploy over 1GWh of grid-scale energy storage projects across the US.
The collaboration will use Trina Storage’s Elementa 2.0 and 2.5 solutions, designed for high efficiency, safety, and reliable performance in a wide range of conditions.

These energy storage systems will improve grid stability, help manage peak loads, and provide flexible capacity.
The move comes as rising electricity demand and extreme weather events challenge grid stability across the country.
By teaming up, Lightshift will be able to scale the roll out of distribution-connected battery fleets, enabling rapid, scalable delivery and direct support for load growth, as well as boosting reliability and deliver cost savings for customers.

In 2024, Trina Storage and Lightshift Energy collaborated on four projects in Groton, Holden, and Paxton, Massachusetts.
