The project is the first to be undertaken under a partnership targeting 5GW of new hydropower in the country.
The project’s timeline began after the Goto-city offshore area was designated as a promotion zone in December 2019.
The company will supply 26 of its V236-15.0MW offshore wind turbines.
The final allocations were secured through two new corporate power purchase agreements.
