The hydrogen supply chain: The progress enabled by diversification in Scotland
Considerable hopes are pinned on hydrogen as a zero and low-carbon solution for high-emitting industries, heavy transportation and fuel and chemical production. But there are a number of challenges in establishing a supply chain with the currently limited end-market. Additionally, many components are currently sourced from international partners. In Scotland, these issues are being tackled by companies applying their expertise from other sectors.
