LOW-VOLTAGE SURGE PROTECTIVE DEVICES

Our PROTEC and PROBLOC families of Surge Protective Devices (SPDs) cover the full extent of single and three phase power distribution systems around the world with voltages up to 690V.

The range is designed to meet the DIN industry standard for ease-of-installation in panel boards and are available in a pluggable arrangement for easy in-situ replacement. They are designed to meet international specification and performance standards such as IEC 61643. Products meeting test class I surge ratings to 35kA Iimp and test class II ratings to 150kA Imax are available, as well as point-of-use test class III. Many of the products meet VDE, UL, NF, AS and other national standards.

CONTROL AND DATA SIGNAL LINE PROTECTION

Iskra Zascite offers a comprehensive range of protection for low-voltage applications from 5V to 110V in both DC and AC. Units are available in both compact and pluggable enclosures with up to three stages of internal protection and with mains incursion or short circuit protection.

Typical applications include: PLC / SCADA high-speed digital communications, intrinsically safe environments, rail and track-side signaling and general RTD transducers. General signaling protocols such as 4mA to 20mA, RS232, RS484 are provided for in single or multi-pair enclosures.

TELECOMMUNICATION DEVICES PROTECTION

With over 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry, Iskra Zascite is considered one of Europe’s leading suppliers of MDF distribution blocks and associated protection modules. Units are available that provide both coarse and fine protection as well as special designs to protect against mains incursion and for use on fast digital subscriber lines handling ADSL and VDSL protocols.
