Description

The Sydney North Substation project is a new substation being operated by TransGrid.

The designed voltage level of the project is 330/132kV, while the operating voltage level is 330/132kV.The step-in voltage of the substation is 330kV and the step-out voltage is 132kV. The substation capacity is 750MVA.

Sydney North Substation has received approval from Australian Energy Regulator to undertake the works on the project.Approximately $26.8m was financed by the authorities for the construction works of the project.
