The proportion of solar technology contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Power Purchase Agreement with 11 contracts and a 34.4% share
  2. Supply & Erection: nine contracts and a 28.1% share
  3. Project Implementation: eight contracts and a 25% share

China was the top country in the Asia-Pacific region for solar technology contracts recorded in September 2021 with 16 contracts and a 50% share, followed by India with six contracts and an 18.8% share and Japan with three contracts and a 9.4% share.

The top issuers of contracts for the month in terms of power capacity involved in Asia-Pacific were:
