The proportion of solar technology contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Power Purchase Agreement with 52 contracts and a 48.6% share
  2. Project Implementation: 24 contracts and a 22.4% share
  3. Supply & Erection: 20 contracts and an 18.7% share
  4. Electricity Supply: six contracts and a 5.6% share
  5. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: three contracts and a 2.8% share
  6. Consulting & Similar Services: two contracts and a 1.9% share.

The US tops North America solar power contracts activity

The US was the top country in the North America region for solar technology contracts recorded in Q3 2021 with 104 contracts and a 97.2% share, followed by Canada with two contracts and a 1.9% share and Puerto Rico with one contract and a 0.9% share.
