Description
The project is currently owned by Florida Power & Light with a stake of 100%.
It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from florida gas transmission east leg.
The project generated 17,468,288MWh of electricity.

Black & Veatch was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
The Gas fired project have been supplied by Mitsubishi Power and Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions.

Nooter/Eriksen supplied steam boiler for the project.
