US-based company The Procter & Gamble’s IT hiring declined 1.3% in April 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 2.29% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 10.05% share in the company’s total hiring activity in April 2022, and recorded a 0.34% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops The Procter & Gamble IT hiring in April 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by The Procter & Gamble, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 68.42% in April 2022, and a 54.12% drop over March 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 19.3% in April 2022, and registered a decline of 21.43%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 8.77% in April 2022, a 16.67% drop from March 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at The Procter & Gamble

North America emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in April 2022 with a 40.35% share, which marked a 36.11% drop over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 36.84%, registering a 60.38% month-on-month decline. South & Central America was the third leading region with a 14.04% share and a 60% drop over March 2022.

In the fourth place was Asia-Pacific with a share of 8.77% and a month-on-month decline of 28.57%.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 33.33% share in April 2022, a 42.42% decline over March 2022. Poland featured next with a 15.79% share, down 71.88% over the previous month. Costa Rica recorded an 8.77% share, a decline of 64.29% compared with March 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead The Procter & Gamble IT hiring activity in April 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 50.88%, down by 63.29% from March 2022. Entry Level positions with a 26.32% share, a decline of 21.05% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 21.05% share, down 36.84% over March 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.75%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
