Description

The project is being developed by Keppel Energy and is currently owned by Keppel Sakra Cogen with a stake of 100%.

It is a CCGT with Cogen power plant. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant will run on Hydrogen.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2026.

Contractors involved

Jurong Engineering and Mitsubishi Power Asia Pacific are expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the gas fired power project.

Mitsubishi Power will be the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company is expected to supply M701JAC model gas turbines for the project.
