Description

The project is being developed by Keppel Energy and is currently owned by Keppel Infrastructure Holdings with a stake of 100%.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant will run on Hydrogen.

The project cost is expected to be around $750m.

Development status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2026.

Contractors involved

Jurong Engineering and Mitsubishi Power Asia Pacific are expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the gas fired power project.
