The project is developed and owned by China Three Gorges.

The project generates 200,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 140,000 households, offsetting 173,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The wind power project consists of 10 turbines each with 2.2 MW nameplate capacity, 7 turbines each with 3.6 MW nameplate capacity and 8 turbines each with 3.3 MW nameplate capacity respectively.
