Vogt Power International (Vogt Power), located in Louisville, KY, a subsidiary of Babcock Power, based in Danvers, MA, has announced that it will supply the heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) to Siemens Energy for the Termozulia III project, located at the Municipality of La Canada de Urdaneta, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Vogt Power will deliver two unfired natural circulation three pressure level HRSGs for use behind Siemens SGT6-5000F turbines. The primary fuel for the plant will be oil with moderate natural gas firing. The HRSGs will incorporate Vogt’s SMART design which features a high level of pre-assembly; modules, casing, interconnecting piping, and some structural steel all combined in one box, thereby simplifying and streamlining the processes for on-site construction. When complete the Termozulia III project will increase the power generation capacity for Venezuela’s national network.

"The growth in demand for natural gas combined cycle power plants and cogeneration units internationally has allowed Vogt Power to book eight projects outside the United States this year. We believe the market will remain strong allowing us to continue our global expansion. We appreciate the confidence that Siemens has in our technology and execution and look forward to supplying our HRSGs for other Siemens projects," stated Steve Kapsalis, president and CEO, Vogt Power International.
