Wood Group Light Industrial Turbines Ltd (WGLIT), part of the Gas Turbine Services Division of international energy services company, John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group"), has been awarded a six year long term service agreement with Diageo Distilling Ltd, which is part of Diageo plc, the world’s leading premium drinks business.

Valued at approximately $1.5 million, the contract covers the provision of full service and maintenance support for a 6.2MW Siemens Tornado industrial gas turbine package, plus the associated power turbine, control system and ancilliary items, at Diageo Distilling’s facility in Glasgow, Scotland. Additionally, WGLIT further supports Diageo Distilling with a 24 hour helpdesk, project management and remote telemetry.
