MET and Termokimik Announce Alliance to Bring SCR to North America

MET (Marsulex Environmental Technologies Corporation) and Termokimik Corporation Impianti e Procedimenti Industriali SPA (TKC) have announced they have entered into a business alliance to offer TKC’s Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology and worldwide experience in North America.

Termokimik’s SCR technology, which has 23,000MW installed globally and 4,000MW in the US, reduces more than 90% of nitrogen oxides from flue gas emissions in utility and industrial plants and provides low installation outage time, integrated process approach and optimized ammonia to NOx distribution.

Both companies formally launched the alliance and the product at this year’s Power-Gen conference in December 2012 in Orlando, Florida.
