STENFLEX® develops, produces and supplies flexible pipe connections to customers worldwide.
The company’s product portfolio includes rubber and steel expansion joints, PTFE expansion joints, fabric expansion joints, pipe connectors, hoses, swivel joints and rubber-metal bearing elements.
For the past 50 years, industrial pipeline construction applications have relied on flexible pipe connections by STENFLEX®, the specialists for high quality construction elements in:
Three features set STENFLEX® expansion joint technology apart. It is entirely maintenance-free, highly reliable in application and extremely durable. This means that operators can rely on our expansion joints for cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
STENFLEX® stands for delayed material ageing, with protective components, absolute and sustained flange-sealing and ease of installation. Add to this high resistance to pressure surges thanks to vulcanised reinforcing materials made of synthetic fibres and steel wire, all at maximum cost-effectiveness.
Our range of expansion joints, swivel joints and industrial hoses includes products with nominal diameters from 15mm to 3600mm, nominal pressure ratings up to PN40 (swivel joints up to maximum PN420) and temperature resistance ratings from -196°C to 900°C, suitable for all solid, liquid and gaseous media.
Connections parts (that deviate from DIN) such as ISO, ANSI, VG, SAE standards etc. are also available.
STENFLEX® steel expansion joints vary according to the following criteria:
STENFLEX® expansion joints are delivered ready for installation in nominal widths DN 15-DN 3400 and for nominal pressure rates up to PN 25. A wide range of materials is used, with temperature resistance from -196° C to +900°C.
Rubber expansion joints differ according to the following criteria:
STENFLEX® Rubber expansion joints are delivered ready to install in nominal widths DN 20-DN 3600 and for nominal pressure rates up to PN 25. A wide range of materials is used, with temperature resistance up to +110° C.
STENFLEX® PTFE expansion joints are particularly suitable for aggressive media. PTFE is resistant to almost all chemicals and solvents.
STENFLEX® PTFE expansion joints are used in machinery, industrial equipment and piping systems. They are established in the following industry sectors: chemicals, process engineering, foods, beverages, pharmaceuticals, waste and disposal technology as well as IT.
STENFLEX® swivel joints are used in applications involving liquid and gaseous media. The swivel joints can be used as flexible pipe connectors under the most demanding conditions and can withstand extreme temperature and pressure.
STENFLEX® swivel joints are highly suitable for absorbing oscillations. Swivel motion can be handled as well as complete rotation at low speed.
Our swivel joints can be used in a wide range of applications, including:
STENFLEX® hoses provide safe connections whether in process technology, offshore applications, mechanical engineering, building engineering or as part of supply systems.
