Clean air and noise-reducing systems

Turbo machinery needs the right conditions to perform at its best. To get a safe and cost-effective operation, reliability and efficiency is of the utmost importance. Reliability means that the inlet filtration system must be able to protect the turbine from penetration of particles that could be damaging to the turbine.

Efficiency means that the inlet system must remove the entrance of small particles to avoid fouling, resulting in degradation of the gas turbine performance. In other words, a well-designed system leads to lower operating costs, optimum efficiency and less environmental impact. The mission is to protect machinery in every conceivable environment, from desert or offshore to rural and industrial.

Filter systems

Camfil Power Systems offers static, offshore and pulse filter systems. Static filter systems are for cleaning combustion and ventilation air in rural, urban and industrial areas. Offshore filter systems are designed to clean process and ventilation air on stationary and platform installations. Finally the pulse filter system is made to protect rotating machinery operating in high dust load environments. Of course, there is also room for combining different systems, if necessary. Scope of supply includes:

  • Intake systems, ducts, silencers and filter houses
  • Sound enclosures including ventilation air and exhaust installations
  • Exhaust systems with diffusers, diverter dampers, bypass stacks and exhaust gas silencers
  • Dampers and slides
  • Service and repair
  • Filters and replacement parts

Power and oil and gas sector projects

The customers they work with are mainly found in the power generating industry and oil and gas sector. The activities are ISO-9001 controlled and follow well-implemented project processes. Each project is managed by a project team in close collaboration with the customer to ensure requirements are met all the way.
