GTC Control Solutions (GTC), formerly known as Gas Turbine Controls, is a performance-tested controls pioneer, specialising in supplying spares, repairs and services to extend the operational life of ABB, Alstom, Bently Nevada, Emerson, General Electric (GE), Honeywell, Rolls Entronic, Siemens, Triconex, Westinghouse and Woodward control systems.

In addition to performing functional tests on a number of circuit boards with fully energised panels, we have a state-of-the-art repair facility to ensure all work is performed in a clean and controlled environment.

Some plants have a limited lifespan, which is not economically viable. The repair and remanufacturing solutions that GTC provides not only cuts operational costs but also enables clients to reduce waste.

Our Test & Certification and Repair Services are available for many of the product lines we support and include a detailed Technical Report and Warranty Certificate with an unmatched certification period of up to six years.

Power plant field services and training courses

Our Field Services include health checks for turbine control panels, excitation and LCI, troubleshooting and outage support, TIL review and implementation, HMI or <I> replacement-in-kind, EEPROM backup service, and NERC compliance.

We also offer a variety of training courses carried out by knowledgeable instructors and practicing field engineers. You have the option of predefined seminars or fully customised classes to suit your specific requirements.

Seminars include MKIV, MKV, MKVI and MKVIe engineers and technicians. Courses include MKIV, MKV, MKVI and MKVIe engineers, technicians and operators, on-the-job-training (OJT) and excitation and LCI.

OEM upgrades for power plants

If you require an OEM upgrade, GTC can help you cover the cost by acquiring your pull-out system and spares inventory.

For example, if you own any faulty MKVIe I/O packs (Version H1A) or Controllers (Version UCSA), GTC can buy them or prove credit for any future purchases.
