The ONS exhibition takes place every second year in Stavanger, Norway. This year the prestigious event will be held between the 29 August to 1 September. Wälischmiller Engineering will be presenting their cutting edge remote handling and robotics technology.
Wälischmiller Engineering has developed a robot specifically for the oil and gas industry. The TELBOT is a Robotic System Certified for ATEX Category I / Zone 0 Worldwide the First and Only Available System.
The robot has a reach of 6.7 m (22 ft) and 8 robotic axes + 2 axes in tooling mode. The Robot is the first version owned by a Norwegian service provider. The TELBOT is multifunctional and can be utilized for cleaning, inspection, maintenance and non-destructive testing.
