Elliott and Wood Group agree to form US rotating equipment service alliance

The Elliott Company (“Elliott”) and Wood Group Heavy Industrial Turbines Division (WGHIT), part of the Gas Turbine Services division of John Wood Group PLC (“Wood Group”), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to form an alliance that capitalizes on the collective strengths of both companies to deliver enhanced services for rotating equipment operators in the United States. The goal of the alliance will be to combine the established network of experienced rotating equipment repair facilities of both Elliott and WGHIT, and WGHIT’s strong field service presence throughout the US, to provide outstanding service excellence to the companies’ combined customer base.

Richard Wiegand, Vice President and Executive Operations Officer for Elliott, and Nicholas Blaskoski, President of WGHIT Americas, said jointly: “This alliance aims to provide excellence in service support for all of our customers and further establishes Elliott and Wood Group Heavy Industrial Turbines as creative service innovators focused on their customer’s

needs in the refinery, industrial and power markets in the US.”
