Wood Group Signs Nine Year, US$22 Million Term Maintenance Agreement for Gas Turbine Power Plant with EC Zielona Göra SA of Poland

The Gas Turbine Services Division of international energy services company, John Wood Group PLC (‘Wood Group’), has signed a Term Maintenance Agreement with EC Zielona Göra SA to provide parts, repairs, field services and risk management for the gas turbine plant located in the city of Zielona Göra, Poland. This partnership represents Wood Group’s first Long Term Service Agreement in Poland and further illustrates Wood Group’s ability to provide customer centric solutions for gas turbine maintenance services worldwide.

Wood Group and EC Zielona Göra have worked closely throughout this process to develop a unique long term solution focused on maintaining the maximum availability for the facility. In addition to displaying a strong technical knowledge, Wood Group provided a flexible approach to the contract structure ensuring that the final agreement met or exceeded the requirements of Zielona Göra.
