Duane Germenis has joined Turner Designs Hydrocarbon Instruments of Fresno, California as vice president of sales and marketing. He will be responsible for all upstream oil and gas oil-in-water monitoring applications worldwide.
“Duane comes to us with a full understanding of oily water treatment and separation processes, and the majority of our upstream customer base. From his Houston office, we look forward to his leadership in managing our extensive worldwide dealer network in the upstream sector,” says Gary Bartman, president.
Duane will be responsible for all upstream products, including our TD-4100 XD continuous on-line oil-in-water monitors, as well as our TD-500D hand-held oil-in-water analyzer. His first priority will be the launch of our new “no-solvent” method for oil-in-water analysis. This method promises to rid the industry of the nasty oil extraction solvents currently used in field methods for oil-in-water measurement.
Duane has over 20 years experience in this market, including his time with Vortoil Separation Systems, US Filter, and most recently, Siemens Water Technology. He has a BSME from the University of Houston and is a current board member and past president of the Produced Water Society, an active member of SPE and the UH Alumni Golf Committee.
