Continental Controls Corporation, a manufacturer of fuel control products for gas turbines and gas engines, has announced a new strategic alliance and distribution agreement with Waukesha Pearce Industries (WPI).

This agreement will allow WPI to sell Continental Controls emissions control products for Natural Gas Engines through any and all of WPI’s rapidly expanding sales infrastructure and their more than 20 sales offices across the US.

"WPI is excited to be able to offer Continental Controls product line of gas engine control products to our customers that are in need of state-of-the-art emissions control systems," according to Ken Childress, product manager ED for WPI.

"With a new round of emissions reductions and new monitoring approaching, we wanted to be able provide the most effective emissions controllers for our gas engine customers and we believe we can do that with the CCC product line."

WPI will be offering CCC products for retrofit on aftermarket engines that have either not been required to have emissions controllers in the past or face new requirements which will therefore require more effective controls.

According to Rick Fisher vice president for Continental Controls: "WPI is an excellent conduit for CCC to bring our products to market over a large part of the continental United States."

"They are already very knowledgeable about gas engine emission issues and three way catalysts. With the addition of our product line and specific training and assistance we think WPI will become the leading provider of gas engine emissions reduction equipment."
