Notably, digitalization was one of the most frequently referenced themes in Q2 2023, ranking highest in terms of mentions, ahead of edge computing and social media, according to GlobalData.
Of the top leading companies in the power industry, Enel had the greatest increase in references for digitalization in Q2 2023, compared with the previous quarter. GlobalData identified 184 digitalization-related sentences in the company's filings - 3% of all sentences - and a decrease of 13% in Q2 2023 compared with Q2 2022. Tenaga Nasional’s mentions of digitalization rose by 84% to 68 and Uniper’s by 71% to 60 and Adani Transmission’s by 614% to 50 and ABB India’s by 13% to 21.
