
Germany power industry registered a 4.0% rise in IT hiring activity in June 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.
The industry’s overall hiring an increased by 4.06% in June 2021 compared with May 2021.
Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 7% share in June 2021, recording decrease of 0.48% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany power industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 103.26% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany power industry in June 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 61.96% in June 2021, an 111.11% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 16.3% share, an increase of 36.36% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 10.87%, registering a 233.33% rise from May 2021.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 8.7%, down 52.94% over the previous month.
Top five power companies in Germany IT recruitment activity in June 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 56% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany power industry during June 2021 over May 2021.
Siemens posted 43 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a rise of 95.45% over the previous month, followed by Nordex with 16 jobs and a 166.67% growth. E.ON with 9 IT jobs and TenneT Holding with 6 jobs, recorded an 18.18% drop and a 50% increase, respectively, while EnBW Energie Baden-Wurttemberg recorded a 42.86% decline with 4 job postings during June 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 54.35%, up by 13.64% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 31.52% share, a growth of 163.64% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 14.13% share, up 116.67% over May 2021.
