Schneider Electric’s IT hiring activity rises 3.7% in August 2021

France-based company Schneider Electric’s IT hiring rose 3.7% in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 3.21% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 13.18% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2021, and recorded a 0.3% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Schneider Electric IT hiring in August 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Schneider Electric, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 61.36% in August 2021, and a 17.39% rise over July 2021, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 14.39% in August 2021, and registered growth of 46.15%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.61% in August 2021, a flat growth from July 2021.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Schneider Electric

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in August 2021 with a 44.7% share, which marked a 40.48% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 44.7%, registering a 47.5% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 10.61% share and a 30% drop over July 2021.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 43.94% share in August 2021, an 81.25% growth over July 2021. India featured next with a 38.64% share, up 88.89% over the previous month. Poland recorded a 3.03% share, an increase of 100% compared with July 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Schneider Electric IT hiring activity in August 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.15%, up by 30.3% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 21.97% share, a decline of 9.38% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.88% share, up 70% over July 2021.
