The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 32.83% in June 2021 when compared with May 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 12.98% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2021, and recorded a 0.72% down over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Xylem IT hiring in June 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Xylem, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 68% in June 2021, and an 80.68% drop over May 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 16% in June 2021, and registered a 33.33% decline. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 8% in June 2021, a flat growth from May 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at Xylem

North America emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in June 2021 with a 56% share, which marked a 68.18% drop over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 32%, registering a 70.37% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with an 8% share and a 93.94% drop over May 2021.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 4% and a month-on-month an flat growth.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 44% share in June 2021, a 73.81% decline over May 2021. Switzerland featured next with a 16% share, down 42.86% over the previous month.Canada recorded a 12% share, an increase of 50% compared with May 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Xylem IT hiring activity in June 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 64%, down by 81.4% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 28% share, a decline of 50% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 8% share, down 71.43% over May 2021.
