Overall, Mexico’s nuclear power generation capacity grew by a CAGR of 2% from 2010 to 2021, to reach 1,552MW, and generation grew by a CAGR of 7% to reach 11,606GWh in 2021.
Installed capacity remained constant as there are no new projects expected to commission during 2022 to 2035, at which point nuclear power is expected to account for 1% of total installed generation capacity.
