The project is being developed by Brookfield Renewable Partners and Comber Wind Limited Partnership. The project is currently owned by Brookfield Renewable Partners with a stake of 100%.
The Comber Wind Energy Project (Comber Wind Energy Project I), will have 80m high towers.
The Comber Wind Energy Project (Comber Wind Energy Project II), will have 80m high towers.
The Comber Wind Energy Project (Comber Wind Energy Project III), will have 92.5m high towers.
Development status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in December 2011.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the Comber Wind Energy Project (Comber Wind Energy Project I) will be sold to Ontario Power Authority under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years, starting from 2011.
