Description

The project is being developed by Bharat Light and Power. Bharat Light and Power, Enel Green Power India and Norfund are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50%, 25.5% and 24.5% respectively.

The project is expected to generate 1,000,000MWh of electricity.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Solar Energy Corporation of India under a power purchase agreement. The power will be sold at the rate of $0.038kWh for a period of 25 years. The capacity to be procured is 285MW.

Contractors involved

Suzlon Gujarat Wind Park is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Coral Project (Coral Project Phase III) will be equipped with Suzlon Energy turbines. The phase consists of 32 turbines, each with 2.1MW nameplate capacity.
