Description

The project was developed by juwi Renewable Energies and is currently owned by Neoen with a stake of 100%.

DeGrussa Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 20 hectares.

The project generates 21GWh electricity thereby offsetting 12,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project consists of 34,080 modules, each with 310W nameplate capacity.

10 inverters have been installed at the project site.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Sandfire Resources under a power purchase agreement for a period of 6 years.

The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by NEXTracker.

juwi Renewable Energies is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project, commencing from the year 2016.
