Description

The project is being developed by Shanghai Electric Power and Shanghai Green Environmental Protection Energy. These companies also have ownership stakes in the project. The turbines will be mounted on fixed monopile foundations and will be interconnected by 35kV inter-array cable.

Fengxian Offshore Wind Farm (Fengxian Offshore Wind Farm Phase II) consists of 32 turbines with 6.45MW nameplate capacity.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2021. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by December 2021.

Contractors involved

Fengxian Offshore Wind Farm (Fengxian Offshore Wind Farm Phase IA) will be equipped with China Ming Yang Wind Power Group MySE6.45-18 turbines. The phase consists of 16 turbines with 6.5MW nameplate capacity.

Fengxian Offshore Wind Farm (Fengxian Offshore Wind Farm Phase IB) will be equipped with Goldwind Science & Technology GW 184/6450 turbines. The phase consists of 16 turbines with 6.5MW nameplate capacity.
