Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by China Huaneng Group. The company has a stake of 100%.

The electricitiy generated from the plant will offset 750,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project will be spread over an area of 48km². The turbines will be mounted on fixed type foundations and will be interconnected by 35kV inter-array cable.

Zhejiang Zhoushan Daishan No.1 Wind Farm (Zhejiang Zhoushan Daishan No.1 Wind Farm Phase I) will be equipped with Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment. The phase consists turbines with 8MW nameplate capacity.

Zhejiang Zhoushan Daishan No.1 Wind Farm (Zhejiang Zhoushan Daishan No.1 Wind Farm Phase II) will be equipped with Envision Energy turbines. The phase consists of 6 turbines, each with 8.5MW nameplate capacity.

Envision Energy and Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment are expected to be contracted for rendering of operations & maintenance services for the project.
