Installed capacity is forecast to increase by 31,262MW from 2022 to 2035, at which point wind power is expected to account for 20% of total installed generation capacity. Onshore wind power capacity rose from 1,787MW in 2010 to 8,160MW in 2021 at a CAGR of 15%. It is expected that onshore wind power will reach 35,113MW by 2035, growing at a CAGR of 11% during 2021-2035. Offshore wind power capacity is expected to be 4,308MW by the end of 2035.
