Oil Spill Response in China

By Turner Designs Hydrocarbon Instruments

The Problem:

During the process of exploring for and developing, as well as refining, storing and transporting oil, accidents or incorrect operation may cause some to spill out and enter into open water environments. Oil spill damages can include human heath and safety, the ecological environment and aquaculture. In China, the State Oceanic Administration requires the oil content in ocean discharges to be monitored and samples taken periodically to analyse the oil-in-water concentration.

The Solution:

Online and portable oil in water monitors.
