Artificial intelligence hiring levels in the power industry rose to a year-high in September 2021

The proportion of power industry operations and technologies companies hiring for artificial intelligence related positions rose to a year-high in September 2021.

The proportion of power industry operations and technologies companies hiring for artificial intelligence related positions rose to a year-high in September 2021, with 39.7% of the companies included in our analysis recruiting for at least one such position.

This latest figure was higher than the 37% of companies who were hiring for artificial intelligence related jobs in August 2021 and an increase compared to the figure of 26.4% for the equivalent month last year.

When it came to the proportion of all job openings that were linked to artificial intelligence, related job postings dropped in September 2021, with 2% of newly posted job advertisements being linked to the topic.

This latest figure was an increase compared to the 1.5% of newly advertised jobs that were linked to artificial intelligence in the equivlent month a year ago.
