The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 10.39% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.

Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.03% share in October 2022, recording a decrease of 0.27% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Belgium’s power industry during October 2022 over September 2022.

Umicore posted 118 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a drop of 1.67% over the previous month, followed by Element Labs with 1 job and an 85.71% drop. Electricite de France with 1 IT job and Siemens with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 50% decrease.

Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.07%, down by 9.47% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with a 20.66% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 8.26% share, up 11.11% over September 2022.
