US-based company Clearway Energy’s IT hiring rose 2.5% in May 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 0.92% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 38.6% share in the company’s total hiring activity in May 2022, and recorded a 1.37% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Clearway Energy IT hiring in May 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Clearway Energy, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 68.75% in May 2022, and an 83.33% rise over April 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 18.75% in May 2022, and registered growth of 200%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 6.25% in May 2022, a flat growth from April 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Clearway Energy
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in May 2022 with a 56.25% share, which marked an 80% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 37.5%, registering a 20% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 6.25% share and a flat growth over April 2022.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 43.75% share in May 2022, a 250% growth over April 2022. Lithuania featured next with an 18.75% share, up 50% over the previous month.
Junior Level jobs lead Clearway Energy IT hiring activity in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 62.5%, up by 42.86% from April 2022. Mid Level positions with a 31.25% share, a growth of 150% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.25% share, flat growth over April 2022.
