Czech Republic’s power industry registered a 32.7% rise in IT hiring activity in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 22.22% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.

Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 14.71% share in September 2022, recording an increase of 0.54% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Czech Republic’s power industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Czech Republic’s power industry in September 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 51.32% in September 2022, registering a 550% growth over the previous month.

2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 25% share, an increase of 1800% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 10.53%, registering a 700% rise from August 2022.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 6.58%, up 66.67% over the previous month.

Top five power companies in Czech Republic’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Czech Republic’s power industry during September 2022 over August 2022.

CEZ posted 58 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a rise of 544.44% over the previous month, followed by Siemens with 16 jobs and a 220% growth. E.ON with 2 IT jobs, recorded a flat growth.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 69.74%, up by 341.67% from August 2022. Entry Level positions with a 15.79% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 9.21% share, up 250% over August 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 5.26%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
