Denmark’s power industry registered a 3.0% rise in IT hiring activity in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 4.54% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.

Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 13.42% share in March 2022, recording a decrease of 1.12% over the last three-month average share.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 62.5% in March 2022, registering a 20% growth over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 12.5% share, an increase of 50% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 12.5%, registering a 100% rise from February 2022.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 6.25%, up 50% over the previous month.

Top five power companies in Denmark’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 19.35% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Denmark’s power industry during March 2022 over February 2022.

Vestas Wind Systems posted 28 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a rise of 3.7% over the previous month.  Orsted with 13 IT jobs and Siemens with 4 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 33.33% growth, respectively, while Schneider Electric recorded a decline of 80% with 1 job postings during March 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 54.17%, up by 4% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 39.58% share, registered an increase of 58.33% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.25% share, flat growth over February 2022.
