Germany-based company E.ON’s IT hiring remained flat in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 0.85% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 6.99% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 0.2% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops E.ON IT hiring in July 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by E.ON, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 60% in July 2022, and a 61.54% rise over June 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 20% in July 2022, and registered growth of 16.67%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 14.29% in July 2022, a 16.67% drop from June 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at E.ON

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 91.43% share, which marked a 3.23% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 5.71%, registering a 100% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 2.86% share and a flat growth over June 2022.

Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 60% share in July 2022, a 23.53% growth over June 2022. Romania featured next with a 14.29% share, flat growth over the previous month. Hungary recorded an 8.57% share, an increase of 200% compared with June 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead E.ON IT hiring activity in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 82.86%, up by 16% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with an 8.57% share, a decline of 25% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.57% share, down 25% over June 2022.
