France’s power industry registered a 25.1% rise in IT hiring activity in November 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 27.5% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.

Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 5.69% share in November 2022, recording a decrease of 0.32% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in France’s power industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.41% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s power industry in November 2022.

1) Database and Network Administrators and Architects recorded a share of 42.86% in November 2022, registering a 440% growth over the previous month.

2) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a 38.1% share, an increase of 300% over the previous month.

3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.52%, registering a 500% rise from October 2022.

4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 4.76%, up 200% over the previous month.

Top five power companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 600% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s power industry during November 2022 over October 2022.

Electricite de France posted 59 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 1080% over the previous month, followed by Enphase Energy with 1 job and a flat growth. Siemens with 1 IT job and Schneider Electric with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 50% decrease, respectively, while Enercon recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during November 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.67%, up by 366.67% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 22.22% share, registered an increase of 1300% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.11% share, up 40% over October 2022.
