The industry’s overall hiring increased by 8.38% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.99% share in July 2022, recording an increase of 0.13% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 99.38% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s power industry in July 2022.

Top five power companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 27.18% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s power industry during July 2022 over June 2022.
Siemens posted 51 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a rise of 37.84% over the previous month, followed by Nordex with 32 jobs and a 10.34% growth. E.ON with 21 IT jobs and Vattenfall with 15 jobs, recorded a 23.53% growth and a 15.38% growth, respectively, while Vestas Wind Systems recorded an increase of 71.43% with 12 job postings during July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.6%, up by 39.76% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 17.9% share, registered an increase of 38.1% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 9.88% share, down 38.46% over June 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.62%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
