The industry’s overall hiring increased by 10.49% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.
Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 9.78% share in September 2021, recording an increase of 1.44% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.62% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s power industry in September 2021.

Top five power companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 3.98% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s power industry during September 2021 over August 2021.
Companhia de Transmissao de Energia Eletrica Paulista posted 95 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a rise of 48.44% over the previous month, followed by Siemens with 45 jobs and a 4.26% drop. Nordex with 19 IT jobs and E.ON with 15 jobs, recorded an 18.75% flat growth and a 58.33% decrease, respectively, while EnBW Energie Baden-Wurttemberg recorded a decline of 30.77% with 9 job postings during September 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.51%, up by 6.25% from August 2021. Entry Level positions with a 16.59% share, registered an increase of 24.14% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 12.9% share, up 21.74% over August 2021.
