The industry’s overall hiring increased by 7.58% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 8.85% share in October 2021, recording an increase of 0.27% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.23% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s power industry in October 2021.

Top five power companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 13.64% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s power industry during October 2021 over September 2021.
Siemens posted 29 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a drop of 44.23% over the previous month, followed by Nordex with 22 jobs and a 10% growth. MVV Energie with 9 IT jobs and Vestas Wind Systems with 8 jobs, recorded a 200% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Vattenfall recorded an increase of 60% with 8 job postings during October 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.34%, down by 4.55% from September 2021. Entry Level positions with a 16.81% share, registered a decline of 13.64% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 8.85% share, down 58.33% over September 2021.
